A native of Chicago, for years Laura Doherty has been director of the Old Town School of Folk Music’s early-childhood Wiggleworms program, but over the last few years, Doherty has pursued a solo career as a children's music, touring nationally and receiving accolades from Time Out New York and the coveted Parents' Choice Awards. Her latest release is "Shining Like a Star."
