Middle Class Fashion delves deep into the art of the hook. Contrasting bombastic bass riffs and shimmery minor note piano rolls, the St. Louis supergroup delivers timelessly dapper pop.

Featuring current and former members of Tight Pants Syndrome, Paper Dolls and the Glass Calvary, the beauty of the band comes from letting the listener know the repeating melody in the first twenty seconds of a track, only to leave the darkly-crafted lines firmly implanted long after the song ends.

Led by vocalist/pianist Jenn Malzone, the band feels like they mistakenly stumbled into a black hole back in the flower-power '60s. While traveling at the speed of rock-sound through the time warp, Middle Class Fashion commandeered flakes of most every era of pop music thereafter, from '80s shoegaze to '90s twee. Not content to merely be a product of the past, the band has taken cues from their influences and forged a fresh brand of Midwest songcrafting.
