Mike Doughty: Live at KDHX 10/29/11 by KDHX

While he's still best-known as leader of '90s alternative rock band Soul Coughing, Doughty has amassed a sizable and memorable catalog of solo recordings, starting with "Skittish" in 2000 and continuing up to this year's "Yes and Also Yes." A hard-working, hard-touring and prolific artist, Doughty never looks back. For this Live at KDHX session he gives five of his newer songs (all from "Yes and Also Yes") a stripped-down reading -- just guitar, electric piano (played by Dan Chen) and smart, spit-fire vocals.
