By definition, electronic artists combine sounds and styles. LA-based DJ MiMOSA, however, seems to be on a mission to challenge the very meaning of genre itself.

Applying a radical and beautiful pretzel logic to his mixes, MiMOSA (aka Tigran Mimosa) moves between grimy textures, fuzzy bass, steel drum hooks, hip-hop and R&B samples and microscopically intricate percussive sounds to create an imaginative, atmospheric sonic world that's surpasses the latest club craze. His talents are on fine display on last year's full-length debut album "Sanctuary" and on this exclusive KDHX mix.
