Imagine a perfect sunny day: No schedule, no clock, no alerts telling you to be this place or that place. Now imagine what you would hear while you spent that sunny day with great friends or your great love. Chances are that whatever you've just heard in your mind with your eyes closed sounds a lot like Night Beds.

Night Beds claims Nashville as their home, but as their sound suggests, they've spent many a sunny day out on the road, soaking up experiences to be channeled into their full length album "Country Sleep." Night Beds' vocalist Winston Yellen has a voice that will stay in your head long after the song is over, in the best way a voice can linger. It contains a mixture of urgency and dreaminess that seems effortless. That voice is surrounded by subtle and interesting instrumentation, which can be described as a little folk, a little understated and exceedingly beautiful. "Ramona" is an expansive and ever-changing landscape of a song.

If you missed them when they came through St. Louis, don't worry. An encore performance is about as sure a thing as a sunny day.
