Sounding like a hypnotic and haunted cross-country trip, Roadkill Ghost Choir lives up to their band name.

The DeLand, Florida group includes brothers, Andrew, Maxx and Zach Shepard, along with Kiffy Meyers, Joey Davoli and Stephen Garza. The group formed around Andrew Shepard who played solo first and then gathered his brothers and others around him to fill out the sound of the songs he wrote. According to the band, their sound has changed from the early days, and is evolving still.

The band recorded an EP in 2012, and "Devout" is a cut from that effort. This exclusive performance also includes two new songs and the band is working on new material and a new album. They also made their network television debut on "Late Show With David Letterman" in January 2014.

It will be interesting to see what route the band, and their haunted sound, takes next.
