The 2010 album, Disconnected From Desire, provides no clear answers and the music rarely stops provoking questions: What was that fleeting image? What is that glinting sheen of sound? Across the album, Deheza and her identical twin sister Claudia harmonize exquisitely over Curtis' home-produced, beat-conscious, dream pop soundscapes. With the departure of Claudia (in October 2010), the band has continued touring and adapting its synth-rich sound on stage. Stripped down in this semi-acoustic session, the melodies of School of Seven Bells shine through, as entrancing and serene as a moonlit ashram.
