Grounded in the duo of David Beck and Paul Cauthen, two Texas natives who met in San Marcos, just outside of Austin, the band has expanded to reflect the full range of their influences: Doug Sahm, Gram Parsons, the Everly Brothers and Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young. For this Live at KDHX session, the band delivers three songs in a largely acoustic-style -- though Regan Schmidt's electric guitar fills sparkle throughout -- showcasing their brotherly harmonies and sense of dynamics, especially on the gospel-influenced "To Whom Do You Belong."
