This singing, strumming, and fiddling family masters multiple instruments from mandolin to upright bass. Daughter Melissa married Kyle Triplett last summer. Fortunately, the Bankesters didn't lose a daughter; they gained an experienced banjo player! Individually, the ladies' voices sound singularly sweet. Putting them together generates a heavenly harmony. The group's latest CD, Somewhere In Between, offers a richer sound as the voices of Melissa, Emily, Lindsey, and Alysha mature. With regular appearances at Silver Dollar City and Illinois churches, the Bankesters keep busy. The group made an appearance on April 26, 2009 at the Southern Illinois Irish Festival in Carbondale.
