The Bottle Rockets have been making rugged, rootsy and real rock & roll for over 15 years. Playing songs from their 2009 album Lean Forward, the band pulled out all the stops and chops during a live performance in the KDHX studios.

Led by founders and long-time friends, Brian Henneman and Mark Ortmann, the Bottle Rockets have gone from being dubbed the "greatest bar band in the world" to being celebrated for their song craft and rock and country musicianship. Newest members John Horton (guitar) and Keith Voegele (bass and harmonies) have given the band an extra spark and stability. On Lean Forward, the St. Louis rock & roll survivors sound tight, tough and ready to take on the world again. Catch them at their CD release parties at the Duck Room on October 9 and 10, 2009.
