If you form a group with a name like the Lightnin' Bottle Band, you'd better have some chops and grit. This St. Louis blues 'n' roots rock outfit lives up to its billing.
Featuring as many as six members, the Lightnin' Bottle Band has established itself as one of the river city's most durable and versatile cover bands. On any given night they'll tackle the Allman Brothers, Wilco and even Sublime. For this Live at KDHX session, the band turns in three acoustic performances of classic by Taj Mahal, Little Feat and Led Zeppelin.
The Lightnin' Bottle Band appears at the KDHX-welcomed Phillip-A-Looza benefit at the Old Rock House on December 3.
