Cincinnati sextet the Pinstripes plays ska, but it's truly ska with no limits, as the band injects the genre with soul, R&B, funk, dub, jazz and rock 'n' roll.

For their encore Live at KDHX performance, the Pinstripes show off their songwriting chops on three songs that demonstrate their range of styles and moods. "Might Be Her Fool" has a hook straight out of Motown, "The 1070 to 1963" is pure slinky dub and "Mother" is expert call-and-response reggae that sounds like it could have emerged from Trenchtown in 1968.
