About this Media...

  • Date Recorded: September 6, 2011
  • Artist / Band: The Scandaleros
  • Hosting Show: The Other One
  • Sound: Dan Kinney

Steeped in heavy guitar blues and greasy Southern funk, the Scandaleros are so much more than just another jam band.

Following in the American roots music-conscious footsteps of the Black Crowes and Mofro, the band -- featuring songwriter and guitarist Carson Mann, organist Chris Stevenson, drummer Dave Clark, percussionist David Rothschild and bassist Mike Sivcovich (who sat out this session) -- regularly features a bevy of guest St. Louis musicians sitting in to throw down and expand its already ample groove.

Catch the Scandaleros at the annual TOCO Family Festival, sponsored in part by KDHX, at Jellystone Park on September 9.
