Paul Maroon, Walter Martin and Matt Barrick -- formerly of Jonathan Fire*Eater -- and Peter Bauer and Hamilton Leithauser -- formerly of the Recoys -- left Washington D.C., moved to Brooklyn and became the Walkmen. Notably interested in pared down sounds and vintage instruments, this quintet is currently touring in support of the their sixth studio album, "Heaven," just released. This latest offering has been hailed as the best yet from a group that has become an indie-rock mainstay.

Before appearing at Plush, the Walkmen brought their honest sound and considerable talents to KDHX.
