One of the heavier sounding bands on the indie-rock scene, Ume is known for its fantastic live performances, utilizing the high-octane energy of punk and classic rock with a touch of pop to smooth it out. Bassist Eric Larson and drummer Rachel Fuhrer create an drive the rhythms hard to propel Lauren Larson's maniacal guitar and sweet yet snarling vocals.
Having just played LouFest, Ume will take to the road in September to promote the new LP "Phantoms," which will be released August 30.
