Back on the road again after years of hard living and a recent trip to rehab, Hancock has rarely sounded better. With his quavering twang and piston-like guitar rhythms, he leads his lean, mean, hillbilly swing band through this live session featuring some of his best-known songs, including "Tulsa," "87 Southbound" and the classic title track to his 1995 debut album "Thunderstorms and Neon Signs."
