Playing to a lively crowd in St Louis' newest concert venue, Plush, N'dambi wailed out song after song, while commanding the stage with get strut and swag. Opening the evening was England native turned Atlanta based soulstress, Julie Dexter. Owning the mic and doing a fine job tickling the ivory, Dexter brought a healthy mix of soul, R&B, and a hint of the reggae. Both bands were backed by all local hired musicians, that could effortlessly swing from jazz to Afro Beat. Really impressive to say the least.
