The show opened up with a cover band, Henry's Humans, who called Tim Reynolds up to play on their last two songs. Tim did a round of solo battles with Henry's Humans' lead guitarist, getting the audience on their feet. The next band to come on stage was The Pernikoff Brothers, who played an energy packed set full of originals and a nicely crafted cover of Eleanor Rigby. When Tim Reynolds and his band (TR3) took the stage, a girl with a Dave Matthews tattoo emerged to the front of the stage, reminiscent to Tim's historic past playing for the Dave Matthews Band.
A sense of humor is a rare thing for rock musicians to have, and so are shape-up sneakers - Tim Reynolds was boasting both. Half way through his set, the entire band put on special glasses with blue LED's. The Old Rock House turned out the lights and the Tim played through an entire song with a blue light shinning down on his fret board. Even though it was Tim Reynolds birthday, everyone in the audience went home with their own present: being in the same room as one of the greatest guitar players alive.
