On my radio show Hindsight, I spin a wide range of indie pop and rock from all sides of the pond. This year offered a lot of great songs from which to choose.

Check out my list of top 10 albums, and feel free to leave a comment with your favorite song of 2012.

"Just For Fun" by Alpaca Sports (Dufflecoat)

Pure indie pop perfection from Sweden.

"Ode to Love" by Brothers in Law (CF/WWNBB)

Part of the thriving post punk scene in Pesaro, Italy. Album due in early 2013.

"Easily Led" by Fountains (Beautiful Strange)

Quintet from London brilliantly combining post-punk and shoegaze sounds.

"Your Doubting Heart" by the Hobbes Fanclub (Shelflife)

Nice merger of indie pop and reverb from this trio out of Bradford, England.

"Helen of Troy" by Pale Spectres (Pale Spectres)

Pop from Paris.

"Green Eyed" by September Girls (Soft Power)

Fuzzy garage pop from Dublin.

"Here We Go" by the Spook School (Cloudberry)

Excellent noise pop from Edinburgh.

"Picture Perfect" by Tiny Fireflies (Cloudberry)

Duo from Chicago creating lush indie pop gems.

"My Heart Beats" by Veronica Falls (Slumberland)
