Aimee Mann captivated the seated listeners at the Pageant with her self-described mid-tempo rock, sharply written lyrics and candid on-stage banter.

Touring in support of her latest album, "Charmer," Mann also found room in her set for older favorites like "Save Me," "Wise Up" and her cover of Three Dog Night's "One is the Loneliest Number."

Ted Leo, performing with only a guitar, opened the evening, proving to be a worthy pairing and setting an irreverent tone.
