"Holy shit! That is a real snake!" Said the twenty-something brunette standing beside me. And indeed it was. The theatrics of Alice Cooper Saturday night at the Pageant were like anything I have seen before.

The stage was set and had Alice not taken to it himself, the scene could have been a horror film, haunted house or zombie/Dracula/your-worst-fears type of scenario.

There were windmills and duck walks, tattoos and a whole lot of leather. If the Pageant wasn't sold out, it was close. Or maybe a venue packed with full grown adults is simply less spacious than your typical twenty-something concert-going crowd. The pit was in full motion and the bar was packed in so full that catching a glimpse of the stage was a chance of luck. Alice Cooper has that luck and has the sexiest-most-hard-rocking metal band to boot.

Venrez opened the show.
