Big D and the Kids Table, supported by the Pietasters, brought a party to the Old Rock House stage on Friday night.

The Pietasters started their set promptly at 8:30 p.m., and started out by telling the audience "it's early, but shots need to happen!" The excited crowd warmed up their dancing shoes through the opening set, and kept the energy level up as Big D and the Kids Table took the stage. Big D had time for a few encores, but the night still was young, and many wished it could have continued on a bit longer.

On a personal note, this show was my return from a four month hiatus of photographing concerts, and I can't imagine a more fitting event to bring me out of hibernation.
