Embarking on his most extensive tour in years to promote his recent release, "Tooth and Nail," it's no surprise that Billy Bragg played to a sold out crowd at the Old Rock House on Sunday night.

Bragg continues to sing songs championing the downtrodden, engaging the audience with his quick banter and never shying away from the political. The audience responded to his unflagging energy with its full attention, singing along, raising fits and dancing wherever they could find the space.

Joe Purdy, a solid singer and songwriter in his own right, opened the show with a short set and no doubt earned some new fans with his offering.
