Bloc Party came to the Pageant on Saturday and put on an energetic show for its St. Louis following.

Engulfed in dramatic stage lighting, the London rockers jumped, stomped and jammed across the stage. By the third song, an all-out sing-along had ensued and a night of British rock was under way.

IO Echo opened the evening and wasted no time setting their own mood on stage. Backed by dim lighting, the band's eerie and intense sound matched nicely by their subtly theatrical performance.
