Cave States at Harvest Sessions Cave States at Harvest Sessions Sara Finke
Written by Sara Finke

While the summer may be winding down, Harvest Sessions at Tower Grove Farmer's Market continued this Labor Day weekend with a performance by the St. Louis-based Americana band Cave States.

The band started the first set with "Loose Shoes," a track from its recently released album "The Great Divide." Music fans and market shoppers were treated to songs with thoughtful and heartfelt lyrics, tight acoustic guitar and steel guitar, creating an irresistible current that pulled the audience in.

Performing today were:

Chris Grabau on vocals, guitar

Danny Kathriner on vocals, guitar

Todd Schnitzer on keyboards, bass

John Higgins on steel guitar

Harvest Sessions is a free Saturday morning concert series presented at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market throughout the market season. Harvest Sessions is presented by KDHX and Worms Way Hydroponics & Organics. Also sponsoring Harvest Sessions is the Regional Arts Commission and the Arts Education Council.
