Somehow this was the first show in St. Louis for Dirty Projectors over their decade of existence, but David Longstreth and his crew made up for all that time with a stellar performance at the Pageant.

Indie rock duo Wye Oak opened the evening with a spacey set prone to explosive bursts provided by Jenn Wasner’s guitar and Andy Stack’s drums.
