Brass and bass ruled the night on Saturday, November 24 at Plush as Funk Feast brought together three excellent St. Louis bands.

Opening the night was Big Brother Thunder and the Master Blasters, who mixed funk with smooth R&B. Funky Butt Brass Band had the crowd dancing and cheering during an uptempo set that eventually saw the Master Blasters join them on stage. Anchoring the night were soul men of Superhero Killer, whose sound is at once romantic and aggressive.
