Celtic fans of all shapes and sizes were out in force for Gaelic Storm last night at the Old Rock House.

Filling the downtown concert venue with the sights and sounds of a rowdy Irish pub, the crowd laughed and sang along with Gaelic Storm, as one and all drank the night away. No stranger to St. Louis, the band last stopped in town for a pint earlier this year at the Pageant a few days before St. Patrick’s Day. That night they packed both levels of the Pageant and the same was true for last night at the Old Rock House.

Bantering back and forth with the crowd, frontman Patrick Murphy and guitarist-vocalist Steve Twigger led the crown in multiple sing alongs where participation was mandatory, lest you risk public humiliation. Patrick was not shy about calling light to patrons' vocal misgivings and lackluster participation.

Gaelic Storm is currently touring in support of their latest album, "Chicken Boxer," which debuted earlier this year at number one on Billboard's world music chart.
