Concert photos: Gov't Mule at the Pageant, Tuesday, February 18

Gov't Mule at the Pageant Gov't Mule at the Pageant Joanna Kleine
Written by Joanna Kleine

The harsh winter weather let up just a bit for eager Gov’t Mule fans waiting to get into the Pageant and rock out on Tuesday night.

The band played crowd-loving covers from Bob Marley and the Doors, and threw back some hard hitting rock and unmistakable blues during the show. St. Louis' own Devon Allman sat in on the song "Southern Man" for the first of two encores.

With 2015 ending their obligation with the Allman Brothers, who are currently celebrating their 45th year together, both Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks of the Tedeschi Trucks Band and the Derek Trucks Band will concentrate their energy on touring with their bands, working on solo projects and spending more time with family.
