Armed with a stage full of musicians, singer-songwriter Kevin Buckley treated the crowd to a live version of the new release in it's entirety, and then some. Rooted in acoustic, folk sounds, the band wove together melodies and infused rhythms that kept the crowd engaged to the very end.
Cassie Morgan and the Lonely Pine, expanded from its usual duo to a trio, took the stage early to warm up the crowd. Bringing Melinda Cooper in on drums, the band offered a fuller sound and additional depth to songs whose lyrics stand strong regardless of the arrangement. Morgan also highlighted new songs from her how to write a personal essay latest 7-inch single, "A Day Longer."
