If you're not sure that country music is cool, then Hayes Carll has a sound thay may convince you.

Hayes had as many folks raising their beers for a song about his son, "The Magician," as he did for a tune about a threesome in which his skill set fell short of impressive. Carll packed Off Broadway to the gills; it was just as difficult to get a drink inside as it was out. His music is gateway country at it's finest.

Opening act, Warren Hood and the Goods, was a fusion of blues and newgrass that kicked the Off Broadway crowd into high gear.
