James Taylor played to a packed house of long-time fans at the Fox Theatre Friday night.

Taylor performed with a full band and several backing vocalists. Perched on a stool with his acoustic guitar, he offered selections from his extensive songbook and the stories that accompanied them. After over forty years of writing and performing, his voice and his songs remain as strong and resonant as ever.
