The Kenny DeShields Experience arrived with energy, enthusiasm and a selection of original songs and covers for Saturday's Harvest Sessions at Tower Grove Farmer's Market, making market shoppers forget all about the steady stream of rain falling from the sky.

The band performed two sets full of an entertaining mix of pop, soul and gospel.

Performing today were:
Kenny DeShields on keyboards, vocals
Mark Goins on guitar, vocals
Andrew Gibson on percussion and
Teddy Brookins on bass, vocals.

The Harvest Sessions is a free Saturday morning concert series presented at the Tower Grove Farmers Market throughout the market season. Harvest Sessions is presented by KDHX and Worms Way Hydroponics & Organics. Also sponsoring Harvest Sessions is the Regional Arts Commission and the Arts Education Council.
