Kid Congo Powers and the Pink Monkey Birds rocked through a Sunday night set at Off Broadway.

The Pink Monkey Birds -- Kiki Solis, Jesse Roberts and Ron Miller -- laid down soulful grooves song after song, as Kid tore through new material from the band's upcoming album Gorilla Rose, along with classic songs from the Cramps and Thee Midniters' version of "I Found a Peanut."
