A triple-bill of local talent at Plush on Saturday, December 8, featured three shades of rock, each fiercer than the next.

First on the bill was BulletPOP!, which delivered a steady stream of 1-2-3-4 garage-pop. The Glass Cavalry featured a moodier sound with melancholy notes that occasionally rose to a full-rock fervor. Closer LOGOS emerged on stage with polish and power. The power trio hammered out impressive jams and a few inspired displays of virtuosity before inviting the Glass Cavalry back to stage for a quiet-then-thunderous rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." The superband did old George Harrison proud.
