For those that weren't deterred by the torrential rain and flash floods, Mount Moriah proved to be a worthy reason to step out to Old Rock House on a rain-soaked Monday night.

Frontwoman Heather McEntire's vocals offered the perfect balance of soul and twang to the Americana and rock quartet's sound.

Jesse Sykes (with Phil Wandscher) opened the evening with a set of songs Sykes described as "dark and dirge-y," which was a perfect pairing for the weather and an outstanding opening for the evening.
