It was a long night of hip hop at Plush Saturday night. Doorway kicked off the night at 9 p.m. and it wasn't until after 1 a.m. that the final song of the final record spun.

Nappy Roots ripped through a quick, high-energy set that included the revered "Po Folks" and "Aw Naw." Ladies were of course invited on stage. It took a little coaxing, but once a few made the jump, practically the entire female portion of the audience made their way up.

Local artist Tef Poe made a guest appearance with Doorway that got the crowd in motion, then following was Scrub and It's Complicated.
