"Tuesday Night? Tuesday night?" cried the enigmatic Jeremy Styles several times at the Old Rock House. Tuesday nights aren't supposed to be like this, are they?

New York band Pearl and the Beard brought its melodic and original music to St. Louis, and there aren't enough adjectives to describe the result.

Columbus, Ohio natives the Floorwalkers kicked off the evening and provided a great intense lift to get the crowd ready for Pearl and the Beard. I had never seen a band who interacted with the crowd so well they pretty much knew everyone by name. Between the raucous moments of frenzied play and others of harmonious drama, Pearl and the Beard really took us for a ride.
