Thursday evening found the Pixies playing to a packed room at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis. Beneath dramatic stage lighting, Black Francis and his crew stormed the stage and wasted no time kicking their set into high gear.

Standing three across, with a drummer holding the pulse from behind them, the Pixies played an upbeat set that had some folks screaming and fist pumping, while many others danced in the aisles. Drenching the room with their defining sound, it's no wonder that the Pixies have such a rabidly loyal fan base in the brick city and beyond.

Starting the night off was the ever popular, up-and-coming band the Cults, who set the tone for a memorable evening for all in attendance.
