Pretty Little Empire celebrated the release of their new self-titled album with a Saturday night of local St. Louis tunes at Off Broadway.

The night began with Last to Show First to Go, a pop act treading similar sonic waters to Cake and Spoon.

Next on the stage was the Union Electric, also in a celebratory mood with the release of a new 7" Single, "From Bad to Worstward." The band welcomed a cavalcade of guests to the stage, in a set that incorporated everything from spoken word to country and pop.

Closing the night to a packed house was Pretty Little Empire, supporting a more expansive, synth-supported sound. The band worked through new songs and old, showcasing a trademark groove that incorporates traces of Americana, mellow pop and rock.
