Saturday night's seated show at Off Broadway saw Roy Book Binder play a couple of intimate sets to an appreciative St Louis audience. In both song and stage banter, he talked of the many lessons he's leaned from countless players who'd come before him and often jumped right into an obscure blues number to tell someone else's story. With a commanding style of fingerpicking on his 6-string and a rich a vibrant vocal, he filled the room with a poetry he's been crafting for the last 40 some odd years.
