There were good ol' boys in their best cowboy hat, ladies in little dresses and folks that look like the regular at your neighborhood bar. And it was Ryan Bingham who brought them all together.

Over the years, Ryan has become quite the guitar player, and the heavy riffs and more rock 'n' roll sound of his latest album, "Tomorrowland," make that crystal clear. The new sound was more than well-received Wednesday night at the Pageant.

There was of course plenty of drink-raising, foot-stomping and even a couple of ignited lighters when he slowed things down with "Boracho Station," from his first release "Mescalito." He hit a few tunes from each of his albums, treated the crowd to a solo set and even took off his hat for a few songs so we could catch a glimpse of his honest-to-goodness smile.

The Wild Feathers (not pictured) opened the show with their own blend of pop-charged Southern rock.
