On Thursday evening, after the storm clouds passed and the wind died down, Ryan Spearman performed two sets of folk music for a joyous crowd in Strauss Park.

Spearman and his two bandmates showcased both original numbers and interpretations from some of their heroes, and did so with a fine display of high-level musicianship. The people were dancing, the songs were resonating throughout Grand Center and a good time was had by many.

The performance was part of the weekly summer concert series Thusdays at the Intersection, presented by PNC Arts Alive in partnership 88.1 KDHX and Grand Center, Inc.
