Playing for a sold-out crowd at Chicago's Lincoln Hall, Shuggie Otis put on a captivating performance that reiterated why he is often consider a musical genius.

Having been out of the public eye for decades, Otis has re-emerged to continue sharing his psychedelic, soulful blues sound that is uniquely his own. With a set list that reached backed and pulled out golden gems from his "Inspiration Information" years, as well as a healthy mix of new material, Shuggie Otis and his band owned the night in the Windy City.

Jesca Hoop opened the evening with a beautiful set, which featured her knack for lyrical imagery and a really cool style of slow rolling fingerpicking on her electric six-string.
