Touring in support of their newest record, "Oceania," Billy Corgan's Smashing Pumpkins thundered through St. Louis on Thursday, October 18 with a show at Chaifetz Arena.

Corgan joked with fans that he was happy they came out on a night when the local Cardinals baseball franchise was chasing a pennant while his beloved Cubs sat at home. Although the crowd cheered throughout the first half of the show -- consisting of the newest material -- both the band and the fans jolted to life once the classic Pumpkins tunes started to roll. And roll they did, as Corgan and his current ensemble rumbled and screamed through all the expected hits -- "Bullet With Butterfly Wings," "Tonight, Tonight," "Zero," "Cherub Rock" and more.
