Thao and the Get Down Stay Down made a triumphant return to Off Broadway Sunday night.

Thao's unbridled energy came through perfectly as she stomped and shook her way through the set, inspiring the crowd to squeeze every last drop from the weekend before facing the inevitable dawn of Monday morning.

Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, Aly Spalrto's stage name, took to the darkened stage and opened the evening with a powerful a capella version of "Up in the Rafters." Commanding the audience's attention with only her voice and electric guitar, Spaltro built an impressive set, proving once again that youth can infuse a song with fresh perspectives that are worth taking notice.
