Young and old trickled into BB's Jazz, Blues and Soups on Sunday night to experience the blues from a young and fresh perspective.

The 12th Annual Baby Blues Showcase focused on musicians under the age of 30, and featured performances by Animal Children, Beulah Foehner, the Mojo Roots, Aaron Griffin, Matt Lesch and the Thin Dimes.

The breaks between sets were brief, but joyous as raffle tickets were drawn and prizes were won. All of the proceeds from the raffle went to the Play it Forward foundation, providing underprivileged children with musical instruments.  In the past six to seven years alone, the organization provided 700 instruments to St. Louis schools, and children in need.  BB's even donated an electric guitar of their own for the cause that evening.
