That high lonesome sound could be heard on Saturday morning at the August 26 edition of the 88.1 KDHX-sponsored Harvest Sessions, courtesy of the Local Gents.

The Local Gents are a St. Louis-based traditional bluegrass band, inspired by the likes of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, John Hartman and many others.

Harvest Sessions continue each Saturday though October, from 10 a.m. until noon at the West Pool Pavilion at Tower Grove Park. To see upcoming performers, check out the full schedule.
