The Painkillers took center stage at Thursdays at the Intersection this week.

This group -- formed in the 80's by Webster High grads recently got back together to honor deceased member Jeff Barbush. Sean Garcia replaced Jeff and original members Carl Pandolfi (guitar and keyboards), Mike Martin (bass), and Jack Petracek (drums) returned to make up this underrated group. Music from a new CD was featured.

The performance was part of the weekly summer concert series Thusdays at the Intersection, presented by PNC Arts Alive in partnership 88.1 KDHX and Grand Center, Inc.
