Seeing Danish indie rockers the Raveonettes in such an intimate venue at this stage in their career was a special treat for the scores of sweaty fans packed into the Firebird last night.

Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo powered through a flawless set drawing heavily from their latest album. The duo, sandwiched between two identical drum kits, mesmerized the crowd with their guitar-driven, moody melodies, air-tight harmonies and hypnotic drum beats. Tamaryn opened the evening.
